"Moved here 3 years ago from the Midwest not knowing anything about this area. Liked that many restaurants, shops, and bars were within walking distance and haven’t left North Park since "

"Crime and homelessness are increasing in the neighborhood. Kids are vandalizing they neighborhood. Housing is way over priced and the schools aren’t that good. The parking situation is miserable. There are a lot of bars and breweries so the weekends are terrible for parking or taking your family out. The good restaurants are closing and fast food chains are moving in. "

"Dog owners would like how dog friendly the town is. Coffee shops, restaurants, and breweries all allow dogs. Dog owners would hate how there are barely any public trash cans to dispose of dog poop and also that other dog owners do not pick up after their dogs. "

"North Park is a great neighborhood for dogs. It features safe streets and parks to walk them. Also a lot of the houses have yards in this area which is great for pets."

"I work less than 5 miles from my apartment, it’s the best I’ve ever had, when I come home on a Friday, o Park my car in my garage and don’t move it until Monday morning. I walk, bike, Lyft or Uber everywhere "

"There are many other dog owners and many dog friendly places to take your animal. North Park has no parks or grass based areas so it is difficult to find the right space to have your dog use the bathroom. This is also a high traffic area and people are usually not paying attention or aware of pedestrians so you must be very careful to keep your dog on leash and protected. "

"With as many bars and restaurants as there are here, and the parking being horrible like it is, Id still live in this area and I feel safe here. Easy access to freeways and many places to enjoy as well. "

"No community, crowded, poor schools, lots of homeless and drug addicts... if you feel those are okay for your kids to grow up in then have fun. I would not raise my children in North Park, no way, no how. It’s more of a college/party vibe. TONS of bars. Plus it’s expensive, no bang for your buck in this area....."

"There is a lot of dog walkers in our neighborhood and they are all friendly. I walk my dogs twice a day and run into many of the same people with their dogs routinely. Everyone is friendly and my dogs know where everyone lives and want to go see their pups. "

"There are different pockets of NP that are more family-friendly than others. Be careful and visit the neighboring blocks to get a feel if there are more residential, family homes or apartment complexes. There can be a lot of transients in the area, as well, the closer you get to University and 30th. "
