"People walk their dogs all the time. Seem to be quite a few dog owners and people pick up after their dog"

"We moved here before our first kid was born. Great parks, schools, even parking! It feels safe, and despite then hills, is pretty walkable to BART or Muni."

"Plenty of lawns, but owners get pissed if you don't pick up after your dogs."

"Easy access to I-280 and 101. We have many Muni routes and a bus connection to the Glen Park and 24th Street BART stations."

"It's a centrally located, older neighborhood of mostly single-family homes that are going through the first wave of resales from the original long-term owners."

"Safe neighborhood. Okay for kids to walk in. Decent public schools. School of the Arts is a local gem for good high school productions."

"We’ve lived here since having our first child. It’s a great family-oriented corner of the city with excellent schools, parks and playgrounds and views (except when it’s foggy)."

"It's in the city but far enough away from downtown. The local mom-and-pop restaurants are supported by the neighborhood."

"It's on top of a hill, so there's not much traffic once you're off the main street. You can hike up the hill to a tall Armenian cross for fantastic views. We have a newsletter that is delivered to everyone in the neighborhood and also a clubhouse that holds events for people in the neighborhood."

"The commute is easy because there's Muni and buses nearby. On Muni, it's easy to get to other local areas, such as West Portal."

"This is Glen Park proper. It is walking distance to the BART and is right down the street from the Sunnyside Park which offers basketball, tennis and a children's playground. This is ideal for families or couples who just want to have an extra bedroom (or two) and bay views from their deck."
